CHARTATTACK.COM RELAUNCHES
Canada's premier music website enters new era of information-providing and community-building

Toronto, October 22, 2008. Today, Chart Communications Inc., publisher of CHART Magazine, is pleased to announce the relaunch of its website, CHARTattack.com.

Veterans of the music industry can speak to the rapid evolution that has taken place online within the entertainment landscape since the mid-1990s. The shift from static content to participatory social media such as forums, blogs, tagging, photo-sharing, social-networking, news aggregation, mobile tools, etc, has provided an opportunity for Chart to build a platform which invites engagement with its readership.

  • RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds for all content, including specific tags. For example, a user could build an RSS feed which delivers only CHARTattack.com media related to the band “silverstein”
  • Sharing and bookmarking tools for readers to save and share CHARTattack.com content with friends via Facebook, Digg, MySpace, etc
  • Creative Commons licensing for most content

Banner ads (468x60) and buttons (234x60) are available to be purchased via CHARTattack’s ad-placement system. Once an account is set up during regular business hours, advertisers are able to login to the CHARTattack ad-placement system, day or night, to plan their media buy – from targeted placement to uploading creative to payment.

Payments are made via Paypal which also accepts all major credit cards without the necessity of signing up for a Paypal account.

The revamped CHARTattack.com was built by Fourth Wall Media (http://4thwallmedia.com), a full service agency which specializes in creative production services for digital and interactive kiosk networks.
