2009 INDIES NOMINEES ANNOUNCED
The artists and bands have been selected! inDiscover.net is proud to reveal the nominees for the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards, “The Indies”. The event will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto. The Indies acknowledge, promote and honour achievements of Canadian and international artists in the independent music sector. This year’s show will feature performances by Canadian comedian Jon Lajoie, Arkells, Beast, Crystal Castles, Hey Rosetta!, The Midway State, USS and Indies Hall of Fame inductees Anvil. The show will be broadcast live to air on XM Satellite Radio.
