Most of the hotels in Cannes which are open for MIDEM co-operate with REED-MIDEM and can only be booked through the REED MIDEM Hotel Dept.

As an exhibitor in the Canada Stand, you are given priority in these hotels and  it’s highly likely you will get the hotel you ask for. Also, if you stayed in a certain hotel last year, you will most likely get that one again.

However, there are no guarantees - please note that the final selection of hotel is in the hands of the MIDEM Hotel Dept.

The earlier you register, the more likely you are to get your choice. The Canada Stand Coordinator stays in close touch with the MIDEM Hotel Dept. to keep abreast of realistic availabilities and new options so please discuss your choices with her.

At any time, you are welcome to research your own accommodations. If you are doing so, please indicate that on your participant form and do not send in the Canada Stand hotel form below.

If you choose to have the Canada Stand book your hotels through MIDEM, CIMA will make the initial hotel reservation for you when we send in your MIDEM registration form. This will take place only after you have paid in full.

As soon as MIDEM processes your registration with the Canada Stand, the MIDEM Hotel team swings into action. Once they have made the reservation, they will fax or email you directly with the hotel confirmation.

Please check this confirmation for pertinent details such as dates, number of people, amount of deposit required (usually 3 nights), name of hotel, etc. When you have received this confirmation form, then you are required immediately to send a deposit to the hotel reserved for you in order to secure your room.

Please note, if you must make any changes to your hotel reservation, those changes must be made through the MIDEM Hotel team. The Canada Stand Coordinator can assist you. If you have any questions about your reservation, please let the Canada Stand Coordinator know about any issues first before you contact the MIDEM Hotel team directly for a solution.
